Saturday Vacation

This is one of the three weekends I have off this summer, and the weather cooperated! I have a week-and-a-half off this time around, and I'm staying here for most of it. My dad and stepmom are flying up for a quick visit next week, and then the weekend after I'm heading to Yellowknife, provided I can hitch a ride there for nothing! $930 is too much to spend ona return ticket for only three nights' visit.

Michelle and I stayed up late last night watching Woodstock, and I forgot what a great movie it was! My favourite performance was Crosy Still & Nash; great harmonies, and when you really listen, David Crosby doesn't seem as out of place as you'd think.

Today, we started to head down the goat trail for a quick hike into Schooner Canyon, but it was way too slippery and wet, so we did the Collarbone and Valleyview Trails instead. Afterwards, we took Luna to DOT Lake for her swim, then came home and chilled around the campfire and grilled some burgers. Mmmmm.....
